1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the DharmaDeep mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DharmaDeep LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

DharmaDeep is an AI-powered spiritual guidance application that provides reflections and insights drawn from Hindu scriptures including the Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Vedas, Ramayana, and Mahabharata. The App uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and is intended for personal, spiritual reflection only.

3. Important Disclaimers

3.1 Not Professional Advice

The content provided by the App is for spiritual reflection and informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional legal, financial, medical, psychological, or religious advice. For matters of serious personal, legal, medical, or financial concern, please consult a qualified professional.

3.2 AI-Generated Content

Responses in the App are generated by artificial intelligence and are offered as a directional light, not definitive scriptural authority. For authoritative guidance on matters of faith and practice, we encourage you to consult a qualified pandit or spiritual teacher.

3.3 Accuracy of Scripture References

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally misattribute or paraphrase scriptural content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of any scripture references provided by the App.

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account

  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

5. Subscriptions and Billing

The App offers a subscription plan at $1.99 per month (or equivalent in local currency). Subscriptions are billed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and managed by RevenueCat. By subscribing, you agree to the billing terms of your respective app store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. We do not process or store your payment information directly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation

  • Harass, abuse, or harm any person or group

  • Submit false, misleading, or offensive content

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the App

  • Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding public domain scriptures), is owned by DharmaDeep LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our prior written permission. The Hindu scriptures referenced in the App are ancient texts in the public domain.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DharmaDeep LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DharmaDeep LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days. Deletion of your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription; you must cancel your subscription separately through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
